Ed followed in his grandfather’s footsteps, “Henry Adams worked with Robert McNamara building colleges all over the world for the Ford Foundation”. A sophomore at Texas Tech University Lubbock, Ed joined King Builders as a draftsman for Agricultural Facilities. He completed his degree, Bachelor of Architecture in 1980 and became a licensed Architect in 1993. Ed has over 45 years of experience in architectural design along with master planning, programming, cost estimating and construction administration. His areas of technical expertise include retail, hospital and allied medical facilities, educational and associated athletic facilities, government, commercial properties, office-warehouses and parking structures. As the Sr. Project Architect for SLAY, Ed’s leadership is focused on Project Management from the Client’s program requirements, to development of the design concept, through production management of the construction drawings and into project construction administration.
Ed is a member of American Institute of Architects and is a member of the Texas Society of Architects.
